During my three years tenure as CEO Dialogue of Civilizations Institute in Berlin ( 2018-2020 ), Ekaterina Gerus has been playing  a tremendous role as COO and CFO, running this prestigious international platform of dialogue and policy, engaging with world leaders and influencers from around the world. She has demonstrated exceptional skills in Organization building and management; international and intercultural cooperation; high level research projects coordination; unique sense of analysis… Ekaterina is a doer, she is results and solutions oriented, she is always making things happening with the best standards whatever the complexity and difficulty. She is working with passion and a great sense of integrity and commitment. She was highly regarded and respected by everyone involved in the work and activities of DOC.

I met Ekaterina at different professional events for charity funds and CSR, where she demonstrated her professional knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising. I would like also to mention separately my participation in a charity evening and auction, organised by Ekaterina, that was devoted to the family institute and motherhood and also supported by SEVERSTAL. The evening was organised to an expert level and Ekaterina proved herself to be an efficient event organiser. It is very pleasant also, that Ekaterina used the idea of the event and auction from a charity ball in Switzerland, which she attended at my invitation, and managed to realise this idea efficiently and creatively just one year later in Moscow. I wish Ekaterina success in her important business and look forward to our future cooperation!

I have known Ekaterina for more than 8 years. Ekaterina was heading the Endowment Fund of MISiS University when we first met. Ekaterina was a professional manager of the endowment foundation and together with the university rector gave an excellent start to the development of the MISiS endowment.
Ekaterina is constantly learning and developing herself in the profession, she has distinct responsibility and an in-depth approach to everything she does.
